Most of this stuff was done @ Buck, while I was working there as a designer/animator. Animating stuff by Yker Moreno, Thomas Schmidt and others was a real blast… I also did some beautiful boards under Ryan Honey’s creative direction and got them to move!!!
Months had passed wating for my visa to get approved, and then I was working at Wysiwyg – doing a lot of motion graphics for websites and also some broadcast animation for such studios as Inocuo The Sign, Boolab, Supperstudio, and others.
I re-edited all of that stuff and used a track by Synchronoiser for the reel. This time we chose to remix a famous Spanish “pasodoble” tune… So I decided to name my reel “Pasos dobles 2056″ – Conveying the idea of a double step, one forward and another towards the future …
This is summer 2005, I left Zinkia and I really wanted to get into motiongraphic industry, but I just had 2 o 3 real projects animated and toons of personal experiments, so I mixed them with this awesome Concha Velasco’s remix done by my friend Synchronoiser, and moved it around some spanish studios to see what I could get.
Sadly the motiongraphics scene in Spain didnt was solid enough by that time to get a job as designer/animator, so I sent it overseas and I was lucky enough to get a possition at Buck!!
